VD conditions
Hi Hubert,
the vdx-files are no real "drivers", but sets of application prgrams and their catalog descriptions.
IN these vdx-files is encoded the EIB manufacturer to which these products belong, so, you need such manufacturer code. However, EIBA only assigns manufacturer codes to members (actually also only when they register their first product), so you'll need to become an EIBA Member or Licensee. You should contact EIBA or KONNEX for the conditions (price).
° There is no code reserved for "non-members".
° Also, non-certified products will be rejected by ETS at import, so, you also need to register and certifiy your product.
In case you'd be a manufacturer with real commercial intentions, best is to contact EIBA or KONNEX.
