There is indeed a problem with the iETS installation script, and yes, Mr. Gate$ had go to do something with it (to quote one entry to this topic: you can complain at glansleistung@microsoft.com)
One possible cause may be that you have moved the shortcuts to the program in your Windows Start menu from their original location to somewhere else in the Start menu).
In any case, if you have this problem, it should be investigated and you should report it to your reseller (where you licensed your ETS), or at best via http://support.eiba.com.
