As a java programmer I'm looking to develop a web application frontend to my EIB installation.

I've heard and read a lot of positive things of the Gira Homeserver.

However, the Eiblets solution is also very appealing. Although it would require additional work, you have all the freedom to access the EIB objects in a java application. Within the application it won't be a problem to set up a timer function, a at-home-simulation function, ...

However, I've read that the JNet Systems implementation of Eiblets have limits on the number of EIB objects that can be reached.

Can someone confirm this and propose alternatives and solutions?

Best regards

Ivan
