Homeserver software

If I understood the documentation of the Gira Homeserver (my German could be better), the Homeserver is a Linux PC with Gira soft on it.

Because I have a PC available that is running Linux SuSE, I am wondering why I should buy such an expensive hardware piece.

Is there a way to install / buy the software and the necessary instabus bus connection?

Hi Ivan,

the Gira-Software requires the original Gira-hardware. Parallel installations are not possible on Homeserver.

Hello Ivan,

through the purchase of the HomeServer you buy a complete embedded unit.
The software can not be bought by itself. It is a plug-and-play-system.
