STEP 1: Order the CD at EIBA.
This is free and is preferably done by simple e-mail to sales@eiba.com.
STEP 2: Install ETS 3
When the CD arrives, you can install the software. It will then run in demo-mode.
STEP 3: Request the license
The software also installs the License Manager, through which you can create the host-ID and which allows sending your order request (containing host-ID and the package you want to order (typically simply "ETS")). Send this request per mail.
STEP 4:
EIBA provides a temporary license key, which, again via the licence manager, you can "import" to activate your ETS. ETS wil then run for 30 days in full operation mode. Meanwhile, you pay the invoice that EIBA has shipped.
STEP 5:
After you have payed the invoice, EIBA will send the final license. Via the same method, you can activate (import) this.
Needless to say that, if you don't pay the invoice, your first, temporary license expires after 30 days.
You can find all at http://www.eiba.com/ets3.
Licenses for home owners like you have been discussed (also on this forum), but there is no solution yet.
The software can indeed with the same license file not run on a desktop and a laptop (hey ... Is that a typical home owner situation???). But for 50 € you get an additional license.
