hallo zusammen

wer weiß rat. die ETS1.2 unter win98 erkennt die serielle schnittstelle über ein usb-dock nicht.habe leider keine andere
schnittstelle zur verfügung.was kann ich tun?

The EIB communication via RS232 requires some handshaking via RTS and CTS which is also very strict in timing.

Such USB-RS232 docks can not properly handle these signals and respect these requirements. There is no possibility to connect EIB via such a USB-RS232 convertor.

There are alternatives to the RS232 connection (but I can personally not advertise here) and EIBA is working on a USB-EIB interface (will be in ETS 3).

dein problem wurde in diesem Forum schon mehrfach angesprochen. Bentze einfach die Suchfunktion.

Für dein Problem gibt es nur eine Lösung:

Die Fa. IT-GmbH (http://www.it-gmbh.de) bietet für Notebooks PCMCIA-Karten mit einem RS232-Anschluß an.

Es gibt zwar auch eine USB-Schnittstelle, die aber unter win98 nicht läuft, benötigt wird XP.
