I have always seen an enormous potential for this application within buildings, not only for the given example (visitors in a larger building), but also in social applications, like the support for elderly, disabled, ... in taking care of themselves!

However, I fear that the market for this application will at first be rather small and it will be less interesting for KNX Association manufacturers to develop a (standard) solution for this. The first integrations may thus very likely be "engineered" (e.g. computer based).

The development becomes even quicker, the technologies different nowadays will approach and thus God wants to grow together to a standard.
