Hello

Excuse me because write in English.

I want to know how and if I can block a brightness sensor with push sensor and switch light on and off manually.

Hey Kiddi

which type of brightness sensor do you use?

Yes it should be possible by using object 3 at program 704C01. Sending "1" to bit 0-2 (dez. 7) blocks sending telegrams referring to the specified brightness limits.

Using program 704D01 sending "1" to bit 0-3 (dez. 15) in object 4 will cause blocking if you set the channels to send no telegrams in case of blocking.

Unblocking with sending 0.

This will force the light to be turned on by pushing the sensor and remain on until you switch it off again with the push sensor.

But you have to send a 1 byte telegram if you want to turn off the limit channels.

I do not know exactly, but I think that you will have to use a logic module too, which has to send a 1 bit telegram to the switch in order to switch the light AND the 1 byte telegram to the brightness sensor.

Thank you guys for your information’s I will try this.
I asked Gira hotline also and they told me that if I was using one of there new actuators like 4 fold order number 1007 00, it has a blocking function that I could use direct. But I cant use it the because I am not using that type of actuators, I am using older version order number 627 00 and this actuator do not have this function.

Best regards.

Yes, you´re right. I forgot the possibility to block some actuators directly using their special object.
By the way, that is the difference between an EIB specialist and me.
