Ich hofe es ist mir vergeben das ich nicht in Deutsch eine frage stel?

Dear readers,

I have an EIB installation with an JUNG 2130 USB REG connection. Is it possible to connect the Gira Homeserver to it? For example using a RS232 to USB converter cable?

Thanks!! Danke sehr!!

Hi Michael,

So I really need:
– Instabus bus coupler UP 2 (Article No. 0645 00)
– Instabus data interface FT 1.2 (Article No. 0504 xx)
– Instabus RS232 access line (Article No. 0645 00)

Or can I use a Jung EIB-Datenschnittstelle seriell RS-232 REG (Jung 2131REG)?

Thanks! Danke Sehr!

Even the access line? Why don´t they include it with the Homeserver?

Danke,

Hi Maarten,

the HS needs an FT1.2-Serial Conenction or a IP connection over the Siemens IP-router N146 (NOT N148!!!) or the Gira IP-Router "1030 00 REG Plus" to can access the KNX/EIB-Bus.

If the serial FT1.2 would be included into the Homeserver, Gira (DaCom) has to certificate the HS at the Konnex (for many €€€ :)) because it is THEN an KNX/EIB-Part.

Michael

Alles klar. So it has to be a special serial connection not a ´normal´one. So the cheapest solution is the list from the GIRA installation manual.

Danke sehr. :)
