How to master the HomeServer

I'm (still) awaiting my HomeServer.
I've dowloaded the doc from the DaCom site.

Can someone please tell me shortly, the sequence to follow to get a HomeServer up & running and to do my own programming.

I'm not fluent in german, so I try to minimise the reading/translation effort. I guess no english version is available ? a pitty !

No english doc neither ?
I'm using Babel Fish to translate from german to french (or german to english) but the output is most often chineese :(

Yet another level of difficulties.
The document HS2_Firm_082004_R1_D.pdf does NOT allow for cut&paste. I use this feature tu copy the german text into the translator. So, I'm unable to translate, unless I retype the whole document.
Not only doesn't Gira/DaCom provide an "international" version of their technical documents, they block end-users from doing this painfull job themselves. Bravo :mad:

This is the second time I make the same mistake: trusting the reputation of a market leader (the first time was Viessmann, terrible experience)

NB: HS2_BDA_082005_R0_D.pdf is OK for cut&paste
