Erfahrungen mit Netstreams?

Hallo zusammen,

auf der Suche nach einem Multiroom-Audio-System bin ich auf Netstreams gestoßen. Nähere Infos hierzu unter www.netstreams.com/ (http://www.netstreams.com/) (englische Herstellerseite) bzw. unter www.netstreams.info (http://www.netstreams.info) (deutscher Netstreamspartner).

Die Audio (und Video!)-Verteilung über normale CAT5-Kabel finde ich grds. interessant. Durch eine patentierte Technologie soll das Streaming in verschiedene Räume absolut synchron laufen.

Hat jemand mit dem noch relativ neuen System bereits Erfahrungen gesammelt?

Hello,

I have seen a demo of NetStreams a week ago. I was very impresesed. Sound quality was good and the streaming in more than one room was synchroon.

This is the future of multi room music. Everything via TCP/IP. TCP/IP radio, CD player, ... They have even TCP/IP speakers.
So, you can say stream the sound of CD Player with IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the speakers with IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx


For the moment it's not possible to communicate with EIB via the TCP/IP protocol. They only have an interface with Lutron (American System).

Thanks for the informationen. Have you heard about plans to realize an EIB-interface?

For me it would be okay if it´s availible coming summer ;)

I have spoken with the vice president of NetStreams about EIB. He has heard about it and said to me when there is enough demand that they maybe will make an interface.
