I received a copy of ETS Demo v1.2. I assume that this version has a limited bus access for maximum 20 components.

I've installed this copy on Win XP without any problems. But when I want to specify in the options the com-port that should be used, the program triggers an error saying that this version doesn't have bus access.

Somebody already told me that ETS isn't compatible with Win XP. Is this the reason why it returns this bus access error?

Best regards,

BTW: Although I cannot write in German, feel free to reply in German.

Hi Eulaersi..

the answer of Hujer is not correct: It is not possible to install the NT-Upgrade into the "ETS-Demo-Version".
This will just work with the ETS-Full-Version.

Also the ServicePatches can not be installed on Demo-Version.

The "ETS-Demo-Version" ETS2.0V1.2 works correctly with Win95 and WIN98se. (FIFO in COM1 Switched off)

On WinXP you might install a Dual-Boot or use an "old" PC :D

You have got a Full Copy of the Demo-Version? There might be also an Description on this CD-Rom in german and english language.

Best Regard
Peter

Hallo Peter,

MfG Frank :)

What do you mean by a "Full Copy of the Demo-Version"? On my cd I read "ETS 2 V 1.2 Demo". I don't read any additional information in the Dutch PDF-files or readme-files. I can look at the German or English files if there is more information on the version I'm using.

Hujer> over with the ETS2v1.2 under WinXP communication a NT update will construct needed.

(Bing!) Right.

Hujer> Purchase under www.it-gmbh.de

(Trööööööt!) Wrong.

Let EIBA send it to you by e-mail, free of charge, as did I!

Matthias,

hab ich da was falsch verstanden?

EIBA weiss nichts davon!

Danke
Grüße
Mike

If you have:
- ETS2 v1.2:
=> Free NT upgrade indeed available on request.
- ETS2 v1.2 Demo:
=> NT upgrade will not be delivered and can anyway not be installed.

Schreib an Chantal.

Just an indication ...
Don't send the request to Mrs. Degol. She's responsible for sales .. .and things we give away for free aren't sales ...

Better simply send your request to support@eiba.com.

Ah, ok. In fact, I did sent my request to eiba@eiba.com, it's just that I got the reply e-mail from Mrs. Degol.

Gruß Matthias.
