Hello,

I am just trying to get a Powernet project on rail, and this is all new to me, only used TP before.

Are the BCU and Tastsensor compatible between manufacturers? ABB does sell a Powernet BCU but I am not too fond of their buttons. Could I use, say, Gira Tastsentor2 with the Busch-Jaeger BCUs?

Also, there are phase couplers and phase repeaters. Which one is needed for a small scale system (an appartment, maybe 20-30 bus devices)?

Many thanks

Fred

NO, they arent't!

EIB components are compatible from the EIB-connector, "the red-black-wire". A software flag within the bCU and sometimes mechanical properties of the BCU will prevent you from using switch sensors on BCUs from other manufacturers.
