I have two lights installed above my bed connected to the A and B input of a Merten dim actor 2x230 / 300 W (6490.29).

Since a couple of days these lights are flashing in the middle of the night. Earlier this has happened once or twice.

In a recent discussion in www.eib-forum.de, they've said that this is the result of high frequency signals sent by the electricity company in order to turn on street lights or so.

I like to believe this, but is there any solution for this very inconvenient problem? I still need to buy some extra dim actors. Should I select a different label?

Thanks for your help

Ivan

If it's really a problem with "Rundsteuerung" you could use a filter to filter these signals right after the main counter.

Problem is that these filters are really pricy.

An option is, to check if your flashing is really related to these signals - you would need a oscilloscope or some specialized equipment like a Fluke 43B Power Quality Analyzer.
