Merten Doorbell?

In our house we've chosen for the Merten Transcent design. And we're very happy with that, thank you.

But we still don't have a doorbell. Our first idea was to have the GIRA doorbell. But now we would like to rephrase our ideas.

Would it be possible to use the Merten Transcent design touchpanels as a doorbell. Assume that I take the two-panel glass. I laser one panel so that I can insert a microphone and speaker, and the other panel can be used as a touchpanel. In combination with EIB, it won't be difficult to start a bell when one touches the glass.

Does anybody already tried this?

Which speaker/microfone should I choose to insert?

What if I want to add a camera?

Can I use the GIRA modules for speaker/microfone and camera, or would that not be possible, or just plain ugly?

Hi Ivan,

I think you should look for a job as an product manager.

But your ideas are a little bit to special. It would be better to work together with Merten and Nicolas Grimshaw to solve these probs.
