ETS Starter :
Once the “New Comer” understands the software and the basics of KNX/EIB he should be able to use KNX/EIB actively. After installation, the ETS 3 Starter will run for a limited period of time (30days); when buying a LICENCE it will run without further limitations.
Without a valid License the ETS 3 Starter will run as an ETS 3 Tester.
The Starter version is meant for small, residential buildings (1 line, 64 devices) with limited applications. Possible applications are Lighting Control, Shutter control and individual room temperature control.
Heisst diese Beschränkung dass ich keine Rolladensteuerung programmieren kann oder wie sieht "man" das?
Was ist noch eingeschränkt, wüsste ich gern vor dem Kauf!
Gibts die Demo einfach zum runterladen- testen?

EIBA will at L&B show the ETS 3 Starter Edition.

ETS 3 Starter Edition does not show Physical Addresses nor Group Addresses. It assigns these itself, based of course on the user's choice. To this, it bases on standard models for devices and standard models for applications. It is thus limited to these device models and these applications.

The User Interface is totally different.

ETS 3 Starter is for the newcomer, to lower the technology threshold by hiding these address aspects.
The successor of ETS2 v1.3 is ETS 3 Professional, not ETS 3 Starter.
