Datentyp EIS und non-EIS

Meine Therme gibt am zugehörigen EIB-Modul im Fehlerfall einen Code aus, der aber "non-EIS, 1 Byte" klassifiziert ist.
Mein Infodisplay kann "nur" EIS-Daten verarbeiten.

Was kann/muß ich tun?
(Neben der Aussage, dass es via Homeserver kein Problem wäre...:D

Error information is not the typical kind of data that runs on EIB. Mostly, it is very dependent on the hardware and the software of the device that sends the message and therefore, non-EIS is sometimes accepted.

You indeed have the problem that no display can properly decode this.

You can start by asing the product manufacturer how the error messages is coded, if that information is not already in the user manual (should be).
