Hi.

I have three conference rooms with moving walls, so sometimes it can become into six separated rooms. The state of wall is shown by the binary input (GIRA 1118 00). In each rooms there are four lights dimming circuits (2 x 1-10V and 2 x normal lights). In my case summary I need to transfer 36 group addresses - 12 type of on / off (1-bit), 12 DIMM (4-bit) and 12 scenes with memory (1-Byte).

I'm thinking about ABB (Busch-Jaeger) ABL / S 2.1 module (and the logic gate bidirrectional from application). There is a limit of 50 group addresses. Is this a good sollution?
Is there some risk f.e. that the information (telegram) can fall into loop when the walls are open?

Gibt es eine Gefahr f.e. dass die Informationen (Telegramm) kann sich in Schleife, wenn die Wände sind offen?

sorry for my Deutsch :-)

Hi EIB-Freak, thank's for quick answer. I was trying to search for this word before, but I didn't find anything, or (what is more possible :) ) I didn't understand promoted sollutions.

That's why I will write what I'm thinking about

1. ABB ABL/S 2.1 - for now it is first and basic option.

2. In older posts there is someting like BJ 6198/10. I didn't find any ETS database for this. I suppose this is device, which is not now supported by ABB/BJE.

3. GIRA HomeServer, but for my problem it is to expensive

4. Hager TK016, but Hager in Poland doesn't support this device, it is big problem to buy it. what is important also I will need about six devices like that.

5. GIRA 597 00 / 574 00, but it is the simillar device like hager, with worst application. Moreover it can't mix 4-bit with 1-bit EIS. One gate will make 4-bits, second 1-bit.

Any suggestions?

The ABB ABL/S 2.1 is a good solution.
You have to use "Bidirektionales Tor".

The device has 50 "Bidirektionales Tor" an is better than the Homeserver (for this solution).

You will use only one device for the three conference rooms.

Is there some risk f.e. that the information (telegram) can fall into loop when the walls are open? No.

Good luck
Dieter
